ABOUT
Video-Surveillance

All of our classrooms are equipped with video surveillance as well as our entry rooms and outdoor play areas. We pride ourselves in knowing that parents can have the peace-of-mind that they deserve while their child/children is/are in attendance at Hearts and Hands Montessori.
Mission Statement
​
Hearts and Hands Montessori was created to serve the child's cognitive, physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and developmental needs; providing a safe, beautiful, and fun environment which fosters a love of learning to continue throughout the child's life.
The Montessori Inspired Classroom
​
Our classrooms are prepared by the teacher(s) to encourage independence, freedom within limits, and a sense of order with regular daily routines. The child, through individual choice, makes use of what the environment offers to develop themselves, interacting with the teacher(s) when support and/or guidance is needed. The teacher(s) also prepare a specific theme that is taught throughout the week to include traditional learning strategies.

Given the freedom and support to question, to probe deeply, and to make connections, students become confident, enthusiastic, self-directed learners. They are able to think critically, work collaboratively, and act boldly -- a skill set for the 21st century.
Air-Purification
Each classroom has an air-purification system that removes 99.9% of bacteria and viruses in the air as well as removing unwanted odors. We are pleased to offer another layer of protection to our students.
Snack & Lunches

Families provide their child with a cold or hot lunch each day. Hearts and Hands Montessori does not serve lunch.

Toddler/Preschool/Primary

Morning snack is provided by the parent(s)

We will provide a nutritious afternoon snack

Hot lunches may be brought in a labeled, glass dish to be warmed in the oven.

Infants

Parent(s) provide their child with a morning and afternoon snack

Hot lunches are warmed in the microwave
TEAM
Our Staff
​
Each team member is equipped with CPR/First Aid Certifications along with other certified trainings such as Sleep Safe, Child Growth & Development, Child Guidance, Program Management, Family & Community Partnerships, Curriculum, Cultural & Developmental Diversity as well as many other trainings. All staff accomplishes at least 16 hours of training hours each year.
